About The Organette Music Repository


Statement of Purpose

The Organette Music Repository is dedicated to the enjoyment, study and preservation of music for all automatic musical instruments, especially those commonly known as “organettes”. It's goal is to provide a publicly accessible repository of information on the content, history, design, preservation, restoration, and use of mechanical music in any form. To that end, you are strongly encouraged to contribute or add appropriate information from your own knowledge or experience.

Copyright and Legal

All material at The Organette Music Repository remains copyrighted by its author(s), and is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0. Refer to the Legal Code for specifics.

In summary, you are free:

  • to copy, distribute, display, and perform the work
  • to make derivative works

Under the following conditions:

  • You must attribute the work in the manner specified by the author or licensor.
  • If you alter, transform, or build upon this work, you may distribute the resulting work only under a license identical to this one.

For any reuse or distribution, you must make clear to others the license terms of this work. Any of these conditions can be waived if you get permission from the copyright holder.
